Once you've decided you would like to start lessons, we'll discuss availability and how many times a week you would like to meet, and for how long.
Before our first session, we'll talk about what you want to work on/learn. This could be something as simple as "drawing heads," or more complicated, like assembling a portfolio. If you aren't sure, that's also ok. First sessions are free, I'll meet with you and talk about your interests and goals. I tailor lessons around what you want to create, what excites you, and the skills you will need.
Remote tutoring is conducted over Zoom. I will send a link before our session begins, and record a drawing board to work alongside you virtually. At this time, I don't offer remote painting lessons.
I conduct in-person tutoring in the Village of New Paltz, at the library or any other meeting location you feel comfortable with in town.
